Born and raised in the heart of New York City, Sam Glyn cherishes and understands the true value of multiculturalism. Educated at New York’s United Nations International School, she completed high school at the Leysin American School in Leysin, Switzerland. Highly trained in drama, she actively participated in the New York arts scene throughout her youth. She received degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish from the University of Miami and is a certified teacher of English as a Second Language (ESOL). Formerly a teacher of the 3rd Grade at H.M. Flager Elementary School in the Little Havana area of Miami, where she was voted 2006 Rookie Teacher of the Year. She has a Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and works with children with special needs. Sam brings a mix of professionalism, vibrancy, and real-world experience to the Alphabet Kids team.
